Yes, an Emergency Pool Responder is available at all times during swimming sessions. They are trained in Emergency First Aid at work to ensure the safety of all participants. 

Both qualifications are nationally recognised.

The pool has a capacity of 55,000 liters and measures 10m x 5m, with a depth of 1.4m. 

During each session, a maximum of 12 individuals can be in the pool at one time, adhering to a ratio of 12:2.

Yes, all swimming instructors hold a Level 2 teaching qualification awarded by Swim England or the Swimming Teachers' Association (STA) and have extensive experience teaching children of all ages and skill levels. They regularly teach in schools, ensuring they are equipped to provide effective instruction tailored to each student's abilities and needs.

The water temperature in our pool is maintained between 28-32 degrees Celsius. Our heaters ensure precise regulation, with clear temperature measurements displayed for reference. Additionally, there are thermometers inside the pool for lifeguards and swimming teachers to monitor before lessons, ensuring optimal comfort and safety for all participants. Our pool temperature can be adjusted to suit specific needs or preferences. 

Recommended pool temperatures for children vary by age: for infants and toddlers, it's typically around 32-34 degrees Celsius, while for older children, a range of 28-30 degrees Celsius is generally comfortable for both activity and learning.

Water quality in our pool is rigorously tested and maintained using our advanced pool lab photometer. Unlike regular pool strip testers, which provide limited information, the photometer offers precise measurements for more than 20 parameters. This comprehensive analysis ensures optimal water quality and safety for all swimmers. 

Lifeguards conduct water tests at 9am, 12pm, and 3pm every day to monitor and maintain water quality standards. Additionally, our lifeguards hold a Level 2 pool plant operator qualification, ensuring they are trained to handle pool maintenance tasks effectively. 

For more intricate maintenance procedures, our pool plant operator, who holds a Level 3 qualification, oversees the process, adding the necessary chemicals as and when needed to keep the water clean and balanced. This meticulous approach to water quality management guarantees a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all.

Yes, changing facilities are available for students before and after swimming sessions. These facilities are provided as an extension of the marquee, with designated changing rooms equipped with boxes to store towels and bags. Students can conveniently walk straight from the pool to the changing rooms without needing to go outside. 

Additionally, during colder months, heaters are provided to ensure that the changing area remains warm and comfortable for students. This setup ensures a seamless and comfortable transition for students before and after their swim sessions.

The cost of hiring our pool starts at £3800, which includes everything needed for swimming sessions. There are no additional fees for basic pool rental.  

It's important to note that the school is responsible for covering the cost of water and electricity during the rental period, which amounts to approximately £400 for a two-week period. Rest assured, our transparent pricing structure ensures that schools have a clear understanding of all associated costs upfront, allowing for effective budget planning.

To ensure the safety of our pool facility, several measures are implemented. A pool cover is used to secure the pool, while the ladder is removed to prevent access to the water during unattended periods. The entry door is then locked, and overnight surveillance is provided by a high-quality CCTV camera system with motion detection and alarms. Additionally, optional fencing can be installed around the marquee for added security at an additional cost.

After booking our pool, you can expect a smooth and organised process to ensure everything is set up and ready for your swimming lessons. We will promptly send over all essential documents. Once the paperwork is in order, we will arrange a convenient date to collect the keys and begin setting up the pool on your premises. On the first day of lessons, our experienced staff will arrive promptly at 9am to sign in and commence the swimming sessions, ensuring a seamless start to your swimming programme.
