WE'RE HIRING!

Swimming Teacher Duties – Pop-Up Pools

✔ Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to children aged 3 to 11, catering to a wide range of abilities, from beginners to more advanced swimmers.
✔ Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of each child, ensuring a fun, engaging, and progressive learning experience.
✔ Ensure all lessons align with national curriculum water safety standards, helping children build confidence and essential swimming skills.
✔ Provide clear instruction and demonstrations, using age-appropriate techniques and teaching aids.
✔ Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, enforcing pool safety rules and best practices at all times.
✔ Work closely with lifeguards and other staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery and supervision.
✔ Encourage and motivate children, using positive reinforcement to build confidence in the water.
✔ Conduct pupil assessments and provide feedback to support their progress.
✔ Assist with poolside setup and pack-down, ensuring the teaching environment is always prepared and safe.
✔ Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and colleagues, providing updates on pupil progress when needed.

Essential:

✔ Enhanced DBS Certificate – Required for safeguarding and working with children.
✔ Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification – STA or Swim England equivalent. 

✔ Reliable travel across Cheshire and Merseyside, with schools ranging from Southport down to Northwich.

Working Hours:

 ✔ Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
✔ Optional overtime available until 4:30 pm
✔ Work at one school for 2 to 8 weeks, followed by a scheduled week off before moving to the next location.
✔ School holidays off, with the opportunity to work in our holiday activity clubs 

Desired (But Not Essential):

✔ Previous experience in sports coaching
✔ Strong swimming skills, with proficiency in various strokes
✔ Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between locations
✔ Experience working with children, ideally in a teaching or coaching environment

Additional Opportunities

✔ During the week off between schools, there is an opportunity to assist with building and taking down the pool, with full training provided by our team.

Become a Lifeguard.

WE'RE HIRING!

Duties:

✔ Monitor and supervise all pool activities to ensure the safety of swimmers.
✔ Respond swiftly to emergencies, providing rescue, first aid, and CPR when needed.
✔ Maintain a calm, alert, and vigilant presence to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
✔ Enforce safety standards, rules, and procedures, ensuring all pool users follow guidelines.
✔ Conduct regular safety checks on the pool area and equipment.
✔ Assist with poolside setup and pack-down, ensuring the teaching environment is always prepared and safe.
✔ Provide excellent customer service, assisting pool users and answering any questions.

Essential:

✔ Valid lifeguard qualification – NPLQ or Emergency Pool Responder (EPR).
✔ Enhanced DBS Certificate – Required for safeguarding and working with children. 

✔ Reliable travel across Cheshire and Merseyside, with schools ranging from Southport down to Northwich.
